Motadata 6.6 Patch for VMware App

Following are the steps to overcome the issue for VMWare.

1. Download the patching link from below.

http://motadata2016.s3.amazonaws.com/Motadata/Patchs/master-patch.zip

2. Extract the downloaded folder which contains different sub-folder with respected to VMWare.

3. For VMWare APP Patching, First, upgrade the app as mentioned below,

   • Navigate to Admin > Motadata Apps > New

   • Browse to the destination folder where VMWare app and plugin.yml is available –> Select VMWare App and click on Upgrade button.

4. After that stop the Motadata service to replace lib and war.

5. After upgrading app, replace VMware lib (/motadata/motadata/lib) and Motadata war(/motadata/motadata/jetty-hightide/webapps).

6. Start the Motadata service.
